Released a little over a month ago on various media, the PGA Tour 2K23 video game will once again satisfy regulars and less accustomed to controllers and greens. Its predecessor, PGA Tour 2K21 released two years earlier had already convinced golfers and players, this new 2023 version should also meet their expectations!
The game developed by HB Studios and published by 2K Games has not been revolutionized, this version is however more successful. Lower the joystick for the backswing, raise it for the downswing, and find the right rhythm for the perfect shot.

The realism of version 21 is preserved, it is even improved with the swing counter which now revolves around your player. A subtle evolution that allows you to focus your attention on the golfer and the swing.
The training mode will be a great place to get to master it. Once you’ve mastered your swing, take on the PGA Tour with MyCareer mode. After creating your player, you can assign an “archetype” which determines your overall style, and also start plotting routes in a skill tree.
You will then be ready to conquer the FedEx Cup by climbing the ladder one by one: QSchool then Korn Ferry Tour. PGA Tour 2K23 includes many licensed tournaments (we will note the absence of majors) which will give you a real immersion on the American circuit.
You will also have to manage the interest of sponsors who will offer you many outfits and equipment, but also deal with the rivalries between the best players in the world. A good fifteen golf stars, including several women are present in this new version.
Famous players, such as Tiger Woods, Jon Rahm or Lydia Ko, are also playable, especially against your friends in the exhibition mode. But you will especially want to challenge your loved ones on the new Topgolf mode. With a true-to-life reproduction of the Topgolf Las Vegas facility, you can aim for targets and try to achieve high scores.
As with the latest version, you slip into the shoes of the greatest golf architects. With the Course Designer mode, you will be able to draw the course of your dream and share it with the community. Some have already reconstructed Augusta and many other mythical courses.
If the game may seem a bit complicated at first sight, it is finally taken in hand quite quickly. Above all, it adapts according to the difficulty of the courses, the opponents or the accuracy of your swing. So everyone will find their pleasure and a suitable level of difficulty.
