Valtteri Bottas is now sporting a mullet during the Formula One off-season

Valtteri Bottas has embraced a new look for the Formula One off-season, with the Finnish racing driver now sporting a mullet.

Bottas, who finished in 10th place in the drivers standings during the 2022 season, is enjoying the off-season, with the campaign having concluded in Abu Dhabi last month.

The 2023 racing calendar is set to get underway on March 5, 2023, with the Bahrain GP, meaning Bottas has plenty of opportunity to enjoy some downtime.

The drastic new look was revealed by Bottas in a video he shared on social media on Saturday

The 33-year-old has switched up his usual haircut (pictured at the Abu Dhabi GP last month)

The Alfa Romeo driver has wasted no time in changing up his look during his time off, with the 33-year-old completely revamping his hairstyle.

Bottas is spending his break in Australia, with his girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell hailing from the country.

And, perhaps to fit in with his new surroundings, Bottas took a trip to the hairdressers and came out with a mullet – an iconic hairstyle in Australia.

In a video shared on social media by the 33-year-old titled ‘#offseason’, it begins with Bottas talking to Cromwell, who herself is an Australian road bicycle racer, explaining how he doesn’t fit in in his new surroundings.

The reveal of Bottas’s haircut is accompanied with him drinking a bottle of Victoria Bitter lager and wearing a Victoria Bitter lager vest as the Finnish driver shows off his new look

During the off-season, Bottas is spending time in Australia with his girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell

Cromwell then asked: ‘Well how are you going to do that (fit in)?’, before Bottas responded: ‘I think I’m going to need to change my style.’.

Cromwell then added: ‘What do you mean?’, before Bottas said: ‘You’ll see’.

The video then cuts to Bottas walking into a hairdresser and undertaking a rather drastic haircut, with the former Mercedes driver coming out of it with a mullet.
