‘Maybe I like the Superbikes so much that I don’t want to come back to MotoGP’ –


Remy Gardner has ended his adventure in MotoGP after just one season, in which he did not achieve the results necessary to convince the Tech3 KTM or any other team to bet on him for 2023. With an eventual return in mind, he will now focus on the World Superbike Championship, which is the challenge ahead.

The Australian admitted, as quoted by SPEEDWEEK.com, that in part he has the desire to return to MotoGP to prove his worth, but acknowledged that he may not even want to after his experience of WSBK:

– I feel like I wasn’t ready to leave. I think I could have still made a difference here. I’m not sure. But maybe I like the Superbikes so much that I don’t want to come back. I don’t know. There’s a part of me that tells me I want to come back to prove it to them, it’s clear who I’m talking about…
