Football
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Just two weeks remain for Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) football teams to position themselves in the standings ahead of MIAC Championship Week on November 11. Bethel leads the Skyline Division at 3-0 – with a 2-0 Concordia hot on the Royals’ heels – while Gustavus now holds the top spot in the Northwoods Division at 2-0.
Seeding for Championship Week will be determined after all games have been played on Saturday, November 4. MIAC teams will be ranked 1-5 in each division based on the current season’s in-division results. Each team will then match up with the corresponding seed in the opposite division for the final conference game of the season. The winner of the contest between the two divisional leaders will receive the MIAC’s automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Football Playoffs. The Skyline Division will host all Championship Week games in 2023.
