Alejandro Davidovich Fokina shared photos of his picturesque proposal on Wednesday, announcing on social media his engagement to Paloma Amatiste. The Spaniard popped the question in front of Rome’s Trevi Fountain after he and his now-fiancee tossed a coin into the famous landmark’s water.

Davidovich Fokina posted photos and a video of the big moment on social media, and was quickly flooded with congratulatory messages.

Among the well-wishers were fellow ATP Tour stars Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, David Ferrer and Arthur Fils.

In addition to the joy in his personal life, Davidovich Fokina also has plenty to smile about professionally. The 24-year-old is two spots off his career-high Pepperstone ATP Ranking of No. 21 and is also one match win away from his 100th tour-level victory.
