Ced Domingo wins VTL gold with Nakhon Ratchasima
It’s a successful first international tour of duty for Ced Domingo, who now joins Bryan Bagunas and Jaja Santiago as gold medal winners for club teams abroad.
Domingo is now a champion in the Volleyball Thailand League as her Nakhon Ratchasima Cat Devils beat Diamond Food in the Finals Sunday.
Nakhon Ratchasima made quick work of Diamond Food in a sweep: 25-18, 25-17, 25-18, making it back-to-back titles in the VTL. Ced started for the Cat Devils and scored five points, four in the third set.
This marks a successful first international tour of duty for Domingo, who now joins Bryan Bagunas (Top Volleyball League – Taiwan) and Jaja Santiago (Japan V Cup) as gold medal winners for club teams abroad.
Ced also joins fellow PVL stars Dindin Santiago-Manabat and Mylene Paat in Nakhon Ratchasima team history, as Dindin and Mylene won bronze for the Cat Devils in the 2021-22 season.
Despite leaving Creamline, where she won four titles and a Finals MVP, Domingo already has a team to come home to in the PVL when she returns to the Philippines.
