UCLA is led by James Jaquez Jr., who averages 17.3 points per game, while Jaylen Clark gets 15.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per night. UC Davis comes in off a loss and gets 20.1 points and 6.6 boards on average from Elijah Pepper, with Ty Johnson adding 16.5 points per game. Mick Cronin is in his fourth year at UCLA and is 78-33 with Final Four and Sweet 16 appearances the last two seasons. Jim Les came to Davis in 2011 and is 164-176.

The Bruins, then ranked 16th, last played on Saturday, posting a 63-53 win over then-No. 13 Kentucky at Madison Square Garden in the CBS Sports Classic. Jaquez finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds and four steals, while Clark and Tyger Campbell each scored 15 points.
The Aggies also played on Saturday, dropping a 79-68 decision at Eastern Washington. Pepper scored 25 points and Johnson finished with 12.
UCLA and UC Davis have met four times previously, the last time on Dec. 17, 2011, at Pauley Pavilion. The Bruins’ 82-39 victory pushed their record to 4-0 in the series.
