The GAA has today confirmed that Johnny Murphy will referee Clare’s All Ireland hurling final against Cork.
It will be the fourth time this season that the Limerick man will be in the middle for a game involving The Banner.
Murphy previously took charge of Clare’s Munster Championship win over Tipperary, All Ireland Quarter Final win against Wexford and Allianz League Division 1 success over Kilkenny.
It will be the Ballylanders clubman’s first ever All Ireland decider while Galway’s Liam Gordon and Tipperary’s Michael Kennedy will be the linesmen on the day.
