PHNOM PENH: From July 6 to 7, the final of the “People-to-people Exchange Cup • Amateur Badminton Competition” hosted by TNAOT News officially kicked off. After intense competition, the first, second and third prizes in each category have been confirmed. The awarding ceremony and closing ceremony of the People-to-people Exchange Cup • Amateur Badminton Competition were held at the Norea Badminton Club in Phnom Penh at 3:30 p.m. on the 7th, officially announcing the successful conclusion of the event.
The event was organized by TNAOT News and received great support from many departments and institutions, including the Cambodian Ministry of Information, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism, the Cambodian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, and the Cambodian Badminton Federation. The awarding ceremony and closing ceremony of the “People-to-people Exchange Cup • Amateur Badminton Competition” officially opened at 3:30 PM on the 7th. Ms. Han Li, general manager of TNAOT News, gave a speech, she reviewed the many wonderful moments of the competition and highly praised the excellent performance of the players, she said that every participant is a champion in everyone’s mind.
Ms. Han Li said that the event is not only a stage for sports competition, but also an important bridge for cultural exchanges between China and Cambodia. She hopes that through the badminton competition, the friendship between the two peoples will be enhanced and cultural exchanges and integration will be promoted. She also expects the event to be a new starting point for cultural exchanges between the two countries and lay a solid foundation for future cooperation and friendship.
Ms. Han Li also mentioned that the success of the competition could not be separated from the support of many sponsors. She once again expressed her thanks to the sponsors. Looking back at the fierce competition in the past two days, the players fully demonstrated their superb skills and tenacious fighting spirit. The final spot was passionate and wonderful. After two days of fierce competition, the list of women’s singles, women’s doubles, men’s singles, men’s doubles, mixed doubles, the list of the top three invitational groups and the list of outstanding awards are finally settled.
