“He Plays More Golf Than I Do”: Professional Golfer Reveals His Experience Of

Ever since ‘The Last Dance’ graced the world with its release, fans were hyped up to relive the monumental legacy of Michael Jordan. Through the ten-part docuseries, we got to witness MJ’s on-court antics as well as his off-court slander with his close friends.

The docuseries highlighted a different side of Michael Jordan, something which we couldn’t gather during his illustrious playing career. Moreover, MJ’s addiction mainly rested on two things besides basketball. Golf and gambling. There are stories about how sometimes ‘His Airness’ would consume alcohol and play golf all day before going out on the court and netting 50 points for the Bulls

Dominic Bozzelli, a professional golfer, has a lot of experience playing with Michael Jordan. They both played more than 100 rounds of golf according to Bozzelli, who spoke to Democrat & Chronicle recently. The 29-year-old is currently waiting for the PGA tour to restart as soon as the coronavirus threat comes to a halt. Speaking about his golf playing experience with MJ, Bozzelli drew similarities from ‘The Last Dance.’ “Just like you saw in the documentary, he has ways where he’s trying to make you better,” he said.

“If that’s going to rattle you then you shouldn’t be playing pro sports anyway, but that’s just his way of telling you how to go after your weaknesses,” he further added. “You’re either going to keep hearing it from him or you do something about it. It’s fun.”

Bozzelli thinks playing with Jordan is like going to work

When you’re playing against MJ, there is no messing around. Three years ago, Bozzelli got introduced to MJ when he moved to Palm Beach Gardens and chose the Medalist Golf Club as his home course. MJ was a registered member on the same course and he invited the professional golfer to join his star-studded athlete group one day.

He was called for a 36-hole game at the course, an offer which Bozzelli couldn’t refuse. So the Auburn University graduate joined MJ and his friends along with his former coach who he had just picked up from the airport.

“I was trying to play it cool a little bit, but the first couple holes you’re pretty nervous,” he said. “The…
