We know Clemson football fans are busy, especially this time of year, so we thought we’d give you a second chance at these articles that you may have missed during the week.

It turns out Clemson fans are also big fans of our early morning Clemson Tigers News posts, where we share the latest news about our beloved Tigers.

The third most read story of the week was Thursday’s news about injuries during Orange Bowl prep, a Clemson staffer getting the top job at West Florida and the ranking of every college football playoff team, where Clemson ranked high.

I was OK with Clemson’s 2018 team’s ranking and thought it was fair.  What do you think?

If there’s one thing that get’s views more than rankings, perhaps it’s news about the transfer portal and that was a focus on our second most-read story of the week.

The coaches are apparently reaching out, without much success to date, knowing they need some experience to go along with a stellar defensive line recruiting haul.

Also, did you know Clemson’s defense applied more pressure than any in college football in 2022? You’re probably as surprised as I am at that fact, just like the ACC All-Conference voters were to find out that one of their “honorable mentions” was an All-American.

Don’t fret Clemson football fans, college football is not dying as some predicted

None of these were outdone by our top story of the week, penned (keyboarded?) by Houston Burnett, about the reaction and overreaction to the changes in college football, “Killing College Football”.

I’m pretty sure Houston directed this at me personally, but I don’t really think college football is dying, just that it needs some structure, direction and grownups, as it were.

I’m less interested in a 12-team playoff than most (admittedly could be swayed), much as I have much less interest in Bowl games now that there’s a playoff.

There is a thing as too much of a good thing, as much as college football fans want to deny it.
