Michael Gomez Jr. can’t contain his anger shoving Levi Giles to the ground

BoxersMichael Gomez Jr. and Levi Giles have made the headlines due to Gomez’s uncontrollable anger which made him push his opponent to the ground during what should’ve been a normal weigh-in.

During the face-off, Michael Gomez and Levi Giles started bantering as it normally happens when two opponents meet during the weigh-in, however, Gomez took it too far and pushed Giles to the ground.

Giles and Gomez are ready to fight

Security personnel immediately intervened to separate the fighters that could not wait until tomorrow when they’ll meet each other in the ring as part of the Lawrence Okolie vs David Light card.

Gomez (18-1) surprised the undefeated Giles (13-0) and pushed him like a straw to the ground, and the unexpected push not only surprised the fighter, but the whole audience as well, which was made up of promoters, boxing teams, media, and security, as well as some boxing fans.

According to Techieraw, there were some things that were said in a press conference that took place a day prior that made Gomez Jr. lose it.

“I’ll punch you up now,” Gomez told Giles

Giles did not weigh in on the argument

Gomez got very angry and said, “I’m simply going to punch his face in.”

After the disagreement, Giles said “He’s simply made himself appear to be an absolute idiot up there,“.
