Oregon women’s basketball guard Endyia Rogers enters transfer portal

Oregon’s best player is not returning to the program.

Endyia Rogers, who withdrew from the WNBA draft early this week, entered the transfer portal on Saturday, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Rogers led the Ducks in scoring (15.9 points) and assists (3.9) and averaged 4.6 rebounds while shooting 45.3% from the field, including 38.7% from three, in 35 games this season. Those were all career-bests other than assists.

She has one year of eligibility remaining.

In 58 games at UO, Rogers averaged 15.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists and shot 43.6% from the floor, 35.8% from three, and 78.6% from the free throw line. The 5-foot-7 guard began her career at USC in 2019-20, averaging 13.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 54 games in two years with the Trojans.

Rogers is the second Oregon player to enter the transfer portal this offseason, joining guard Te-Hina Paopao.

The Ducks currently have eight players in line to be on their roster in 2023-24, including three freshmen.
