Bradley basketball adds two recruits

The Bradley men’s basketball program continued its busy weekend.

The Braves added a pair of Illinois natives from the NCAA transfer portal on Saturday to go with its additions from this week.

Former Nevada guard Trey Pettigrew and former Eastern Illinois forward Kyle Thomas signed to play for the Braves, joining the Friday signings of Icelandic high school big man Almar Atlason and Wisconsin high school recruit Demarion Burch.

Pettigrew is a 6-foot-4, 185-pound Chicago Kenwood product who averaged 3.2 points in about 11 minutes a game in his freshman season for the Wolfpack (22-11) of the Mountain West Conference. Nevada lost in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament. Bradley was among the original schools to offer Pettigrew out of high school.
