But again, being matched with Tony is unbelievable. I don’t know what to say. I certainly didn’t think I’d ever have won, much less that many.”

Hamlin certainly possessed the aspiration to outdo Tony in wins, with several years ahead to achieve this objective. Yet, to genuinely challenge Stewart’s esteemed legacy, he’d require a championship win in his remaining time on the track.
