With the kind of offseason LSU basketball star Angel Reese is having, it seems like there’s nothing she can’t do.

After a Friday tweet telling her followers one of her biggest goals is putting women’s basketball on the map, it’s clear that’s the way she’s thinking about her newfound stardom, too.

“My goal is to bring attention to women’s basketball & for it to be more respected,” Reese, who averaged 23.0 points and 15.4 rebounds per game during in her title-winning season, wrote on Twitter.

“No I might not be the best player right now but I know my impact & how much attention I bring to the game so I’m going to continue to do that for those that deserve their flowers in the league now!”

Reese, a 21-year-old 6-foot-3 forward who helped lead the Tigers to a national championship last season, has seen her star rise exponentially this summer.

She’s visited the White House, starred in a music video with Cardi B, launched a modeling career and revealed a new relationship.

The LSU star made headlines and faced backlash after taunting Iowa star Caitlin Clark in the national championship game with the “you can’t see me” celebration — originally popularized by rapper Tony Yayo and later WWE legend John Cena — as the Lady Tigers closed out a 102-85 win over the Hawkeyes in April.

After Reese initially declined an invitation to visit the White House because first offered to invite both Iowa and LSU, the hoops star walked her statement back, sharing a hug with the first lady during their visit to the nation’s capital.

As Reese’s popularity grows, her financial success has as well, and her NIL valuation reached $1.4 million in May when she also debuted as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model with fellow LSU athlete Olivia Dunne.

Most recently, the 21-year-old told fans about her relationship with Florida State basketball star Cam’Ron Fletcher, revealing the two are, in fact, officially dating.

Reese is currently competing with the United States national team at the women’s FIBA AmeriCup tournament in Mexico, where she grabbed 18 rebounds on Friday to lead the team to the semifinals.

Following the NCAA title game, which peaked at 12.6 million viewers — the most watched women’s college basketball game on record — it seems that Reese has already made it part of the way to her goal.
