The Detroit Pistons and forward Isaiah Stewart have agreed to a four-year, $64 million rookie contract extension, team sources confirmed to The Athletic on Monday. ESPN first reported the news. Here’s what you need to know:

Stewart’s deal averages out to $15 million per year with a chance to get to $16 million per year on average with built-in bonuses.

The fourth year is a team option, according to team and league sources.

Stewart averaged 11.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 50 games with Detroit last season.
