Rafael Nadal and Steph Curry team up for the ‘Grand Slam Ham’!

Spanish tennis legend Rafael Nadal has hilariously announced his new endorsement deal with global fast food franchise Subway, posting a new commercial alongside NBA superstar Steph Curry.In addition to the already well-known sponsorship contracts with brands such as Nike, Kia Motors and Richard Mille, among others, a new partnership is therefore added for Nadal.The Spanish tennis player has been asked to promote the new Grand Slam Ham sandwich, for Subway.The sandwich is part of the brand’s new Deli Heroes line, which features a collection of sandwiches showcasing the brand’s new fresh sliced meats, according to a press release.
In the new commercial Curry wonders if the new sandwich, filled with cold cuts, is up to the Spaniard’s slicing punch.“Is this slice as good as your slice shot?” asks Curry, and the Spaniard replies: “I can’t answer, but yes.”The 22-time Grand Slam champion posted the commercial on social media, jokingly writing that his slice is no match for Subway’s and sharing a clip of his famous slice as a reference.
Rafael’s 2023
Rafael Nadal’s 2023 was totally conditioned by the injury, which has kept him in the box since January 18, when he was eliminated in the second round of the Australian Open by the American Mackenzie McDonald.The injury to the iliopsoas in his left leg forced the Spanish champion to have surgery and have to give up the entire season, in order to return to his best in 2024.
If Nadal’s absence on the courts will last a while longer, things go differently for the 20-time Grand Slam champion off the court.Rafa Nadal won’t return to the field before 2024, but as stated by Uncle Toni, the rehabilitation process is proceeding well and the hope is to return to the court to still be able to compete at high levels.
