JUCO DIRT: NJCAA D1 Frank Phillips College opens

Following-up on something that I teased on Twitter (X) yesterday…

I can now confirm that Frank Phillips College (TX) head men’s basketball coach and AD Jason Sautter has resigned.

This past season was Sautter’s first and only campaign at FPC, where he led the Plainsmen to a 14-15 (6-10) record. Prior to his time at Frank Phillips, Sautter was the head coach at Seward County CC (KS) from 2017-21. The veteran coach has also been the head coach at Western Texas, and an assistant at NCAA D1 UMKC, and JUCO’s Howard College and Seward County.

An official announcement on this move is expected shortly.
