Anyone who is someone has a ticket for the US Open men’s final with a number of A-Listers gathering for Novak Djokovic’s showdown with Daniil Mdevedev.

The one with arguably the best ticket in New York is Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey, who was sat with Djokovic’s team, cheering on the Serbian star in his bid for a 24th Grand Slam title and fourth US Open.

The 53-year-old actor, alongside model wife Camila Alves, has been sat behind the parents of Djokovic, Srdjan and Dijana, and applauding him as he won the first set 6-3.

But there were plenty more from Hollywood in attendance at Arthur Ashe Stadium, including five-time Oscar winner Nicole Kidman as well as fellow Oscar winner Leonardo Dicaprio.

Model and former actor Emily Ratajkowski is also at the showpiece event as is American businesswoman and TV personality Martha Stewart.

Actor and singer Justin Timberlake also has the hottest ticket in town, as do Mad Men star Jon Hamm and Golden Globe-winning comedy star Jerry Seinfeld.

Virginia Wade (left), who won the US Open in 1968 and Wimbledon in 1977, is also there

Among the A-Listers there’s also room for some tennis icons with three-time major winner Virginia Wade, who won the women’s singles title at the US Open in 1968, also seen at the match.

Djokovic, who went into the tournament as the No.2 seed, claimed the first set in New York with the second set seeing the record Slam winner appear to struggle with his fitness.

Saturday night saw home favourite Coco Gauff take the women’s singles title, the 19-year-old coming from behind to win 2-6 6-3 6-2 against no.2 seed Aryna Sabalenka.
