Top 150 forward Braden Frager is coming off an unofficial visit to Nebraska. Frager, a 6-foot-6 small forward from Lincoln (Neb.) has already been to campus multiple times and had the chance to watch Nebraska take on Northern Illinois at home.

“It was a good visit and it was really fun,” Frager said. “I went to watch their practice went to watch a football game. It was a good environment and I had a really fun time at the game and practice.”

With Frager already being very familiar with the program, they continue to express wanting to keep him home.

“Their message to me has been that it would be big to get a in state guy from the city to commit since I’m from Lincoln. It’s super big for them and they are really trying to recruit me hard.”

When it comes to future visits, Frager will take an unofficial to Iowa on October 7th.

“Iowa is the only visit I have planned right now,”he said. “That relationship has been pretty good and it’s one of those where they don’t really reach out a whole lot but I still have a pretty good relationship with them. I like how they play and think it could be a good fit for me. They’re one of my top Interest right now.”

Iowa State, and Creighton are also pursuing Frager hard at this moment. Frager recently visited Iowa State when they took on Iowa and has visited Creighton multiple times.

Iowa State has also been a program that has been in on Frager early in his recruitment and has continued to recruit Frager hard

“If anything my relationship with Iowa State has gotten a lot better,” he said. “I have a strong relationship with coach Green and a great relationship with the head coach. They’ve been doing a great job recruiting me and I feel like every time they call they make it feel like home.”

Moving forward Frager remains open in his recruitment and is open to playing outside of the Midwest.

“I feel like it’s not a huge thing but I would like to stay somewhat close to home. With that being said, at the end of the day it’s about where I best fit and which coaches believe in me the most so it’s not set.”

Frager also knows what he will be looking for as he continues to take visits.

“I’m looking at how well the fans interact with the players, how well the players get along with each other and how the environment is,” he said. “I wouldn’t want to go somewhere I don’t like the teammates and fans. I also want to play on a winning team so that will play a big role as well.”
