While Max Verstappen swung back in style from Red Bull’s sole 2023 defeat in Singapore to dominate at Suzuka all weekend long, Sergio Perez qualified seven tenths behind Verstappen and then wrecked his race with a clumsy lunge on Kevin Magnussen.
