Bryce James, the youngest son of LeBron James, was spotted on an unofficial visit at the Ohio State University on Saturday, as he ponders where he’ll play in college once his high school days in California come to an end in 2025.

The 16-year-old, who just embarked on his junior year at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks – a wealthy suburb of Los Angeles – was in attendance for No. 4-seed Ohio State’s 37-17 win over Maryland

He was shown in videos and pictures taken from the Buckeyes’ stadium in several Instagram posts shared by highly-touted 2026 point guard Dezhon Hall – who was also on an unofficial visit.

Snaps of the duo talking to Ohio State’s men’s basketball coach Chris Holtmann at the football game were also noticeable on social media.

James, a six-foot-six small forward rated as a four-star recruit by ESPN, later revealed that he felt ‘blessed’ to receive an offer from the Buckeyes’ basketball team on X. Over the summer, he left Sierra Canyon School (in California) to enroll at Campbell Hall School, before transferring from Campbell Hall to Notre Dame High School.
