Manchester City’s chances of being relegated from the Premier League have been calculated – as Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United eagerly watch on.

Pep Guardiola’s side are facing the prospect of heavy punishment after the Premier League levelled 115 charges at their feet in February after a four-year investigation. The charges levelled at City stem from 2009 to 2018, a nine-year period which saw the club win three Premier League titles. One of those came at the expense of Brendan Rodgers’ 2013-14 Liverpool side.

A report from the Daily Mail on Thursday claimed that the Cityzens are set to have their case heard by an Independent Commission at the end of 2024.

The case is set to make for interesting viewing for the likes of City’s title rivals Liverpool and Arsenal as well as Manchester United and Everton, after the Blues were docked 10 points last month for breaching the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules over a three-year period between 2019 and 2022.

Despite Manchester City vehemently denying the charges, AltIndex.com have provided the latest odds for where Pep Guardiola’s side will begin the 2025/26 season.
