‘Honda needs to reorganize everything; and there’s a double disadvantage’ –

One of Andrea Dovizioso’s teams in MotoGP was Repsol Honda, where he was between 2009 and 2011 before a year at Tech3 – which, at the time, was a satellite team of Yamaha. Now, he has spoken about the two Japanese manufacturers, who are going through troubled times in terms of performance.

The former rider pointed out the path for Honda in an interview with Moto.it: ‘They need to undergo a complete restructuring, but not change. They need experienced people and to reorganize everything’.

In Dovizioso’s view, both Honda and Yamaha also have a problem with riders: ‘There are no strong riders who want to compete with these bikes, so there’s a double disadvantage, as you don’t have riders who can develop the bikes’.
