NCAA tournament games, scores: Follow Monday’s March Madness action live


The last two spots in the women’s Final Four are up for grabs and we have two incredible matchups to decide who goes to Cleveland.

The marquee is the rematch of last year’s national championship game between Iowa and LSU. It broke viewership records and stoked a rivalry between Iowa’s Caitlin Clark and LSU’s Angel Reese that no one has forgotten. The Tigers got the better of the Hawkeyes in that matchup; will the rematch play out differently?

In the other big showdown of the night, JuJu Watkins and No. 1 USC face Paige Bueckers and No. 3 UConn. Will the freshman get the better of the seasoned veteran?

  • Final: UConn 80, USC 73

    No. 3 UConn outlasts No. 1 USC to advance to the Final Four, where it’ll face Iowa. Paige Bueckers once again led the way for the Huskies, posting 28 points and 10 rebounds.

  • UConn has taken complete control. Now up 76-67 with 55 seconds to play. Huskies went on an 11-0 run to regain the advantage.

  • Paige Bueckers is starting to take over in crunch time for UConn. She knocked down back-to-back shots to put the Huskies up 70-64. She’s got 26 points. 2:53 to play with a spot in the Final Four on the line

  • We’ve got a tie game in Portland! USC’s McKenzie Forbes knocks down a 3 to knot it at 59-59 with 7:32 to play. Forbes has 21 points.

  • End of 3rd: UConn 55, USC 51

    Kayla Padilla hit her first bucket of the night right at the buzzer for USC. That cut UConn’s lead — which hit 12 points briefly in the third — to just four points with 10 minutes to go.

    Looks like we’re in for a good finish in Portland.

  • Aaliyah Edwards seems to be having trouble with her face mask. Had it off early in the third before putting it back on, and then just ripped it off briefly before hitting a pair of free throws.

    UConn leads 47-40 midway through the third.

  • UConn just came out of halftime on an 8-0 run with a huge Nika Mühl 3-pointer to grab a 41-33 lead early in the third.

  • Halftime: UConn 33, USC 33

    USC went on quick 6-0 burst to tie the game up at halftime. Paige Bueckers has 15 points, and JuJu Watkins has 13 at the break.
