Mike Tyson appears to be locked in ahead of his fight with Jake Paul.

The 57-year-old posted a training video on social media on Monday, showing off his speed and athleticism as he prepares to fight Paul this summer.

Tyson may have lost a step or two since retiring, but he seems to be in good shape and should make for a tough matchup against the 27-year-old Paul. Tyson’s last fight was in 2020 when he took on Roy Jones Jr., which ended in a draw.

Paul is off to a solid start in his boxing career and will get a big test taking on Tyson. Since he began boxing in 2020, Paul has notched a 9-1 record with six knockouts. His only loss came to Tommy Fury last February. Since that loss, Paul has won three straight fights with his latest coming against Ryan Bourland in March.

He has won some big fights, but taking on Tyson will be a huge challenge, and Paul knows that.

“My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time,” Paul said in a social media post in March. “Time to put Iron Mike to sleep.”

Tyson and Paul will square off on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The fight will air live on Netflix.
