MUNCIE, Ind. — We’re nearly done through the 2022 IHSAA volleyball state championships.
Three new champions have been crowned in 1A (Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian), 2A (Wapahani) and 3A (Providence) with one more state championship trophy still up for grabs. Bookmark (and refresh) this page to stay up-to-date on all the scores, stats and recaps from every match:

Class 4A State Championship: Hamilton Southeastern 1, Yorktown 0
HSE jumped out to an early 10-5 lead in Set 1, and Yorktown head coach Stephanie Bloom was forced into a second timeout with her team trailing 16-9.
The teams went back and forth during the new few points, eventually settling at 22-15 when HSE head coach Jason Young called his first timeout. The Royals took control afterward to win the first set 25-17, led by Avery Hobson’s six kills.

Class 3A State Championship: Providence 3, Bellmont 1
Bellmont was able to put together a run late in the first set but it was not enough as Providence won the first set 25-15.
The Pioneers opened up the second set on an 8-0 run and the Braves slowly rallied back before eventually falling 25-16.
The third set was tightly contested, with Bellmont earning the 25-22 win by scoring five of the last six points.
Providence returned to form in the fourth set after the teams went back in forth in the first half, winning 25-16 for the program’s first state championship since 2015.
Three Pioneers — Abby Julius, Lilly Kaiser and Makenzie Wagner — led the way with at least 14 kills each. The Braves were led by Hailey Cole and Delaney Lawson with 15 and 13 kills, respectively.

Class 2A State Championship: Wapahani 3, Linton-Stockton 1
The teams went back and forth through the first 12 points before Wapahani took an 11-6 lead after going on a 5-0 scoring run, forcing a Linton-Stockton timeout. The Raiders eventually built a 17-10 advantage before the Miners responded with an 8-3 run, forcing a timeout from Wapahani head coach Kati Weir.
Her girls responded well thereafter, finishing in a flurry to take the first set 25-18. Raiders senior Camryn Wise led the way with seven kills in the frame.
Linton-Stockton came out firing early in Set 2, taking a 5-1 lead to force a Wapahani timeout. The Miners maintained their defensive prowess and led by as much as 18-9 and eventually 24-17, but the Raiders stayed in it and forced a timeout from Linton-Stockton with the score 24-21.
But the Miners’ early play proved good enough and they won Set 2 25-22, evening the match at 1-1. Taryn Thuis and Becca Robbins entered the locker room with a combined 13 blocks.
Wapahani responded at the start of Set 3, forcing an early Miners timeout after taking a 9-3 advantage, but the Raider kept up the pace and forced another…
