MUNCIE, Ind. — We’re nearly done through the 2022 IHSAA volleyball state championships.

Three new champions have been crowned in 1A (Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian), 2A (Wapahani) and 3A (Providence) with one more state championship trophy still up for grabs. Bookmark (and refresh) this page to stay up-to-date on all the scores, stats and recaps from every match:

Class 4A State Championship: Hamilton Southeastern 1, Yorktown 0

HSE jumped out to an early 10-5 lead in Set 1, and Yorktown head coach Stephanie Bloom was forced into a second timeout with her team trailing 16-9.

The teams went back and forth during the new few points, eventually settling at 22-15 when HSE head coach Jason Young called his first timeout. The Royals took control afterward to win the first set 25-17, led by Avery Hobson’s six kills.

Royals 25 — 1

Tigers 17 — 0

Class 3A State Championship: Providence 3, Bellmont 1

Bellmont was able to put together a run late in the first set but it was not enough as Providence won the first set 25-15.
