Former Pioneer standout Kasean Pryor makes new college basketball commitment

Kasean Pryor is heading back to the Division I level of college basketball.

The former Ann Arbor Pioneer standout announced Monday vis Twitter his decision to commit to South Florida.

The 6-foot-10 guard spent the past season at Northwest Florida State after transferring from Boise State.

During his time in the junior college ranks at Northwest Florida State, Pryor developed into one of the best players in the nation as he earned JUCO All-American honors after averaging 14 points and eight rebounds per game.

Pryor originally attended Boise State, where he played two seasons and averaged 1.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in 13 games.

The Chicago native was a first team All-Southeastern Conference Red selection as a senior at Pioneer after averaging 15 points and nine rebounds per game.
