2023 Wells Fargo Championship predictions, odds, Fantasy golf power rankings:

Defending champion Max Homa, three-time tournament winner Rory McIlroy and 2017 PGA champion Justin Thomas are all looking to tap into that history this week at the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship. McIlroy won the Wells Fargo at Quail Hollow Club in 2019, 2015 and 2010, and Thomas won his first major championship on the Charlotte, N.C. course in 2017. Homa’s Wells Fargo victory last year came at TPC Potomac, but he also won one on this course in 2019. Many other players have excellent track records at Quail Hollow, so which PGA Tour players can you rely on for your Wells Fargo Championship 2023 Fantasy golf picks?

McIlroy is the +750 favorite in the latest 2023 Wells Fargo Championship odds from Caesars Sportsbook, followed by Patrick Cantlay (+1400) and Xander Schauffele (+1600). Tony Finau comes off a victory and is priced at +1700, and Jordan Spieth (+1900) led the United States Presidents Cup team to victory at Quail Hollow last year. Forty of the world’s top 50 golfers are scheduled to compete, so which golfers should you be focusing on for your Wells Fargo Championship 2023 fantasy golf picks

Before you bet the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship or lock in any Fantasy golf lineups, you NEED to see the Fantasy golf rankings from Fantasy expert Jim Holliman.

Holliman has been a writer and editor for nearly 25 years and has been playing and following the game closely for more than three decades. The Florida-based writer knows what it takes to win on the PGA Tour and how the players’ games fit the courses.

Holliman has been on a roll since last season, and he was ALL OVER Finau to win at Vidanta last week, tabbing him as his top pick. The expert had Finau and Jon Rahm in his top three, even though Finau hadn’t finished in the top 15 since February. Holliman wasn’t fazed, saying the 33-year-old “should find his footing this week.” He certainly did that, going 24 under par and prevailing over world No. 1 Rahm by three strokes. In addition, longshot play Eric Cole (+10000) posted a top-five finish in the Mexico Open!

The expert also NAILED the Masters when he backed Rahm as his top choice, and six of Holliman’s top eight picks at the RBC Heritage finished in the top 15, including winner Matt Fitzpatrick. At the Valspar, the expert was on Taylor Moore (+5000), who hadn’t finished higher than 35th in his previous three outings.

Holliman also backed Scottie Scheffler to win The Players at +1000 and was behind Chris Kirk at the Honda, backing the +2500 shot before his first victory since 2015. Anyone who has followed Holliman’s predictions is WAY UP on their golf picks.

Now, Holliman has ranked his top players for the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship, and we can tell you the expert is backing McIlroy, despite his uneven play so far this season. The Northern Irishman has just been stellar at Quail Hollow, with two finishes outside the top 10 in 11 tries. He has three victories and is 17 under over his past two outings there. The…
