Hollywood Casino 400 DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel NASCAR Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks

Chase Elliott - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR

The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs continue this weekend at Kansas Speedway. Last weekend, Kyle Larson won at Darlington, clinching a spot in the Round of 12. Will another playoff driver make it to victory lane on Sunday and grab one of the guaranteed spots?

This is the second time the Cup Series has been at Kansas this season. Back in May, Denny Hamlin led 34 of the 267 laps and won, while Kyle Larson finished second after leading a race-high 85 laps.

Below are my NASCAR DFS lineup picks for the Hollywood Casino 400 on DraftKings and FanDuel this week. This slate locks on 9/10/23 at 3:18 PM ET. If you have any questions or want to talk about NASCAR, you can find me on Twitter at @juscarts.

Denny Hamlin

Starts 14th – DK: $11,000, FD: $14,000

Denny Hamlin won here in the spring, so it makes sense to think he has a shot to repeat on Sunday. In order to do so, he’ll have to come from a little deeper in the field than he did back in May, but that just adds to the place differential upside, right?

Hamlin has just been so good here over the past few years. He’s recorded four top fives in a row at this track, which also means that in the new generation of NASCAR cars, his worst Kansas finish is fourth.

Overall, he’s won here four times, with three of those wins coming since 2019. Hamlin should be a top contender in Sunday afternoon’s race.

Kyle Busch

Starts 35th – DK: $9,600, FD: $11,500

Kyle Busch is an obvious chalk play, as he starts just 35th. There’s a huge amount of place differential upside for this 8 team on Sunday after Busch had to go to a backup car for a practice incident.

Busch crashed out of the spring race here, which was his third finish of 26th or worse in his last four Kansas races. That’s worrisome, but he’s also a two-time winner at this track, and he was running well here before his crash back in May, running as high as fourth in the Advent Health 400.

This car should have plenty of speed, giving him a chance to finish with 25-30 place differential points.

Chase Elliott

Starts 4th – DK: $8,100, FD: $9,000

Chase Elliott missed the playoffs, but now he has a chance to just go out there and try to win some races. He’s won at least two races in five consecutive seasons and he’ll need to find his way into victory lane soon if he wants to keep that streak alive.

Elliott’s won at Kansas before, leading 44 laps in the 2018 fall race. That was one of six top fives and nine top 10s that Elliott’s had at this track during his Cup Series career. He’s also led double-digit laps here five times.
