Former Nebraska volleyball player transfers to Penn State

Former Nebraska volleyball player Caroline Jurevicius will continue her college career at Penn State, she announced on social media on Thursday.

She entered the NCAA transfer portal database on Monday, one day after Nebraska’s season ended in the national championship in Tampa, Fla.

The Chadron, Ohio, native was the backup to All-American right-side hitter Merritt Beason this season as a freshman and did not appear in a match, meaning she has four years of eligibility remaining. She was the No. 17 ranked national recruit in her class by Prepvolleyball.com.

Her father, Joe, played college football at Penn State and then in the NFL.
