Amid this, two former gold medalist women’s volleyball players, with their previous experience of shining bright in the Olympics 2020, seem to be determined not to lose their gold this season.

One such world champion, Jordan Larson, has lately not been playing professionally, because she has been training for the bigger game – The 2024 Paris Olympics. She, along with another standout player from the Tokyo Olympics, was recently spotted on the court, aiming to repeat Team USA’s 2020 success.

In a recent video shared by Avid Volley in X, Jordan Larson is seen prepping with Jordyn Poulter, another former gold medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The caption reads, “Jordan Larson x Jordyn Poulter ????” Spinning or smashing a set ball and aiming for higher jumps in the game, these two American volleyball players are kick-starting to set records once again in the coming days.

In a recent interview, the three-time World Grand Prix gold winner, Larson revealed that because of her ultimate focus on the 2024 Olympics, she is doing most of her training with her team in Anaheim, California. On the other hand, Jordyn Poulter, who had been named as the ‘Best Setter at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games’, will also be representing Team USA in the Paris Olympics. Given their staunch careers, there is every reason for anticipation to build up.

3x Olympic medalist Larson is often referred to as ‘The Governor of Nebraska’ because she was one of the best Nebraska players ever. After her successful collegiate career, Larson spent some time in Italy and China, playing professionally. He came back to her den in Nebraska last year when she took up the responsibility of the Huskers’ assistant head coach.

Meanwhile, there has been widespread speculation about Larson’s joining the Pro Volleyball league with the Omaha Supernovas. But Jordan’s dreams lie elsewhere. To fulfill that Olympic dream, she went back to training in California. If she makes it to her fourth Olympics, she will be the second-oldest female indoor volleyball player in USA’s Olympic history. On the other hand, Jordyn Poulter, the 2020 star player, is also hoping for an amazing comeback.
