The Rainbow Wahine (6-5) finished the three-day tournament with a perfect 6-0 record, including a pair of wins on Saturday over Pepperdine in the semifinals and BSU in the finals. UH’s top flight pair of Jaime Santer and Alana Embry were selected as the Most Outstanding Pair after going 6-0 for the week and helped Hawai’i win its fifth overall Queen’s Cup.

UH began the day with a 5-0 shutout over Pepperdine in the semifinals, although the final three deciding matches went to three sets. The duo of Kaylee Glagau and Julia Thelle clinched the dual with a thrilling 19-21, 21-16, 15-13 victory over Kristine Briede and Madison Oriskovich at court two.

Boise State earned a spot in the championship after edging Saint Mary’s 3-2 in the other semifinal.

In the finals, UH jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after Anna Maidment and Sydney Miller won easily at court five, 21-10, 21-12 and Santer and Embry posted a 21-16, 21-8 win at court one.
