Bridgette Gilliano hitting .340 for Nevada softball

Gilliano, a Buena Regional High School graduate, had two hits and an RBI in Nevada’s 7-3 win over Rutgers. She went 3 for 4, hitting a two-run homer and an RBI single, in a 14-6 win over Fresno State. She had two hits and an RBI in a 7-4 loss to Fresno State.

Nevada is 22-7. Gilliano, the 2019 Press Softball Player of the Year, is hitting .340 (33 for 97) with four doubles, a homer and 18 RBIs in 29 games.

Olivia Catalina (Cedar Creek) had two hits and an RBI in Lafayette’s 15-6 loss to Le Moyne.

Emily Cimino (Wildwood Catholic) hit a grand slam in Lehigh’s 14-12 loss to Penn State. She went 3 for 5, including an RBI double, and scored twice in an 11-5 win over Cornell.

Devin Coia (Vineland) had two hits in Monmouth’s 3-1 win over Saint Joseph’s.

Katie Master (Atlantic City) hit a triple and scored in East Stroudsburg’s 6-1 win over Southern New Hampshire.

Gabriella Monzo (Mainland Regional) hit a pair of RBI singles in Goldey-Beacom’s 5-0 win over Saint Rose. She hit an RBI double and scored in a 14-11 win over Saint Rose.

Gabriella D’Ottavio (Buena) had two hits, a run and an RBI in Millersville’s 8-0 win over Jefferson.

Bailey Dickenson (Vineland) hit a two-run single and sister Brooke Dickenson (Vineland) hit an RBI single in Post’s 6-4 loss to Felician. In a 5-4 win over Ursuline, Bailey had two hits and a run.

Makenzie Edwards (Hammonton) allowed a run and struck out two in 6 1/3 innings to get the win in West Chester’s 3-1 victory over Molloy. She struck out two in 3 2/3 innings in relief and got the win in a 6-2 victory over Illinois-Springfield. She allowed two runs and struck out six in seven innings in a 2-1 loss to Pace.

Aliza Langlois (Millville) had two hits in Albright’s 6-5 loss to Maine-Farmington.

Rhiannon Ginnetti (Absegami) had a single and a double in Centenary’s 6-5 win over Neumann.

Peyton McGowan (Egg Harbor Township) doubled and scored in Immaculata’s 9-7 loss to Marymount.

Emily Tunney (Oakcrest) tripled and drove in a run in New Jersey City’s 6-4 loss to Baruch. She had two hits and two runs in an 8-2 win over Baruch.

April Lewandowski (Hammonton) struck out 11 in six shutout innings in Penn State Brandywine’s 5-0 win over Central Maine.

Mahogany Wheeler (Millville) hit a solo homer and a two-run double in Ramapo’s 6-5 loss to John Jay. She doubled and hit an RBI single in a 5-0 win over John Jay.
