Four Teams are Semifinals Bound at 2024 ACC Men’s Tennis Championship

CARY, N.C. (theACC.com) – Virginia, Duke, Wake Forest and Florida State all advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Championship after each posted wins on Friday at the Cary Tennis Park.

No. 1 seed Virginia grabbed a 4-1 win over No. 9 seed Clemson to start the day before three-straight shutouts. No. 4 seed Duke blanked No. 5 seed North Carolina, 4-0, No. 2 Wake Forest swept No. 7 Georgia Tech, 4-0, and No. 6 FSU claimed the upset shutout over No. 3 seed NC State, 4-0.

Virginia will face Duke and Wake Forest will battle Florida State in the pair of semifinal matchups. Both will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday. The matchup between the Cavaliers and Blue Devils will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

The championship match is slated for 10 a.m. Sunday on ACC Network Extra.
